God Heals
Yesterday a few of us went into town to tell people about Jesus. Paul preached saying that if anyone wanted change in their life we had the answer. I clocked a guy leaning against a wall listening. He saw me looking at him and then walked straight over. I asked him what it was he was thinking. He said quite simply that he wanted change in his life.I could tell just by looking at him that he was very ill. He struggled to speak and kept apologising for the way he looked. He explained that a year ago he had been diagnosed with parkinsons disease. As John and I spoke with him it was also clear that he was very lonely. We prayed that he would be healed and then gave him the gospel.
We met up with him again this afternoon. He told us that last night his speech had got considerably better and that he couldn't believe it. As we talked with him about the truth of Jesus again I felt God's real presence with us and knew that the Holy Spirit was working in his life.He will be coming to our Church meeting on Sunday so please join with me in believing that this man will be saved very soon.
On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. John 7:37

...and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:6-7
