Prayer Not For The Faint Hearted!

Give Thanks
Giving thanks is key to coming into God's presence. It sets an atmosphere for faith and expectation. It is the only attitude by which we can come to God in prayer.
(Psalm 100:4)
Pray for Others
It really is more blessed to give than it is to recieve. Taking your mind off yourself and praying for someone else's need will always build you up and leave you strong.
(Acts 20:35)
Declaration
As God's people we have the privilige of being able to speak in His name and with His authority. There is a big difference between asking God for healing and declaring God's healing. God has given us His word that we might use it!
(Matthew 28:17-19)
Binding and Loosing
In the same way, we have also been given authority to bind things that are not of God and loose things that are in line with his Kingdom; that God's will might be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is the very purpose for which the Church exists.
(Matthew 16:19)
Keep Knocking
God loves it when his people keep knocking, because it demonstrates a determination and zeal. Coming back to God and praying for the same things is not a sign of weakness; it is not done in vain, but it is sees a rise in expectation, passion and faith.
(Matthew 7:7)
In all these things, they are not simply keys to prayer but they are keys to living.
